Dual Enrollment for High School Students

WHO IS ELIGIBLE TO TAKE DUAL ENROLLMENT COURSES?

At Harrisburg University, high school sophomores, juniors and seniors are eligible to apply for dual enrollment.  We welcome dual-enrolled students from public, private, charter, home and cyber schools.

 

WHAT ARE THE ADVANTAGES OF DUAL ENROLLMENT?

By earning dual enrollment credit, you won't just be preparing for college, you'll be getting a head start on your academic and career goals.

Earning college credit in high school allows the opportunity to create a more flexible schedule as a college students.  This allow more time for other academic and extracurricular activities.

Dual Enrollment allows families to save on future college costs by earning college credits at a discounted per-credit rate.

Harrisburg University of Science and Technology is excited to announce our first Annual Dual Enrollment Day. This will be a fun and informative day for your students who are currently in Dual Enrollment Programs with our partnering secondary schools to fully experience what Harrisburg University has to offer.

 

We will have live demos for our Geospatial Technology, Interactive Media, Integrative Science, and Computer Science Programs. There will also be a meet and greet with our e-Sports team and a presentation from our Director of e-Sports.

 

Lunch will be provided for all students and chaperones, as well as, tours of the University. At the end of the day we will have the HU Gear Shop Open for students who would like to purchase items.

 

At the end of the day counselors will offer Instant Admission for any student that would like to apply to the University.  For those interested in completing applications for instant admissions, we ask that the school representative have copies of the unofficial transcripts on site for review.
